  • Hypromellose

    Hypromellose is a tear substitute used to moisten and lubricate eyes. It is used when your pet has keratoconjunctivitis sicca (dry eye syndrome).

  • Imidacloprid

    Imidacloprid is a topical insecticidal agent prescribed by your veterinarian to treat fleas on dogs, cats and rabbits. It can also help in control of allergic skin disorders due to fleas.

  • Imidapril

    Imidapril may be used to treat high blood pressure and as a vasodilator in the treatment of heart failure.

  • Insulin

    Insulin is a hormone that helps the body turn the food your pet eats into energy. Insulin works by allowing the sugar to pass from the blood into the body's cells to make fat, sugar and protein.

  • Itraconazole

    Itraconazole is an antifungal medication. It is used to treat fungal infection (ringworm) of the skin, hair and nails in cats.

  • Ivermectin

    Ivermectin is used for control of parasites in rabbits, guinea pigs and ferrets. It is used for control of roundworms and external parasites such as mites and lice.

  • Jaundice in Cats

    The term jaundice describes a yellow discoloration of the skin. This can most easily be appreciated by looking at the whites of the eyes, and the mucous membranes (ie the third eyelids and gums).

  • Kaolin-Pectin

    Kaolin and pectin are used to treat diarrhoea. They may also be used to relieve the symptoms of an upset stomach and nausea.

  • Ketoprofen

    Ketoprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent used to relieve pain and inflammation. Your veterinarian may prescribe ketoprofen to reduce pain in arthritis.

  • Lack of Blood Platelets - Thrombocytopaenia

    This term indicates there is a decrease in the number of circulating blood platelets thus impairing blood clotting.
